THE ANIMAL
The Black Hawaiian ram is a popular exotic, jet-black hunting trophy, often featuring a white muzzle and massive, dark, curling horns that can grow up to an impressive 40+ inches. These beautiful rams make a fantastic addition to any trophy room. We have a large variety of trophy rams available at the Rose Lake Ranch and hunt them year around.
Black Hawaiian ram meat is lean, rich, and slightly more robust than domestic lamb, with a clean flavor when the animal is young and well cared for. It benefits from marinating or slow cooking to keep it tender, especially for roasts and shanks.
